Things To Do With Family In Dubai
Places to Visit in Dubai with Family
Dubai is not only a city of entertainment for only solo travelers, couples or for parties but also a destination for family fun. Some of the families keep on writing to me actually complaining that I do not recommend anything for them in my blogs. So this blog is dedicated to all those families out there planning to visit Dubai. I have got the best on the top list of the places to visit in Dubai with your family and kids for maximum fun.
Kidzania @ The Dubai Mall
A place meant for your kids to try any career they imagine. Actually, I overheard one of the kids said, “Dad, this is better than Malaysia”. Your kids can enjoy being doctors, pilots, chefs, firefighters and explore their dreams. Tickets cost approximately around 150 AED per person.

Dubai Fountains @ The Dubai Mall
A delight for your eyes and you can enjoy the fountains dancing to the music. Usually famous during the evenings with many sessions and excellent lighting effects. It’s for free so don’t miss this as USA Bellagio experience is given in a better form for the entire family in Dubai Downtown.
Cinemas @ The Dubai Mall or Mall Of The Emirates
The best place to relax with your family is watching a movie at a multiplex in Dubai. Almost all malls have cinemas but Dubai mall and Mall of the Emirates is usually famous with the best ambiance. Watch the latest released movie first here before anywhere in the world. Tickets cost approximately around 35 – 50 AED per person.
Atlantis, The Palm @ The Palm Jumeirah
This is a place where water meets wonder. Apart from just only visiting the hotel and taking pictures or the architectural, I recommend for families to experience the Aquaventure water park with the best slides in the world with two towers the Neptune and Poseidon and the leap of faith is a must try. Also, the lost chambers aquarium which takes you into the myth of Atlantis welcomes you to the house of 65,000 marine animals. Combo Tickets cost approximately around 300 AED per person.
No matter the age, a desert safari is a must do activity in Dubai for families. Your kids and you will enjoy camel riding, quad bikes, and dune bashing. You can either choose morning, evening or an overnight safari. You can find cheap priced desert safaris in Dubai but the best experiences and a good quality desert safari tour ranges from 190 AED to 250 AED per person.
Beaches In Dubai
A Dubai holiday isn’t complete without a beach fun. You have options such as the JBR beach in the marina, the Jumeriah beach in front of Burj al Arab and the Mamzar beach in Al Mamzar. All beaches are awesome and the best place for a family to have a relaxed afternoon time without any worries of safety.
Dubai Metro Ride
It’s my personal advice for you take a ride on the Dubai Metro. Many tourists take a metro ride to see the views of the city. Cars need to be kept away sometimes to enjoy via public transportation. Kids are gonna love it. The best route is from Jumeirah Lake Towers metro station until Union metro station, where you can see the city as well as the underground. A day pass costs around 25 AED per person where you can travel an unlimited number of times during the day.
Indoor Skydive @ Mirdif City Centre
Skydiving is a dream for many, but most of them have a fear and especially do not want their kids to try. On the other hand, it’s very expensive. But don’t worry I found this place where am I and my kids had a great time doing indoor skydiving with the same amount of fun as in the air. There is no fear, full of safety and also some memorable photographs to cherish. Make your way to the iFLY Dubai at Mirdif City Centre. Tickets cost approximately around 250 AED per person.
Dubai Marina @ Night
This is the best place for an evening or night walk between tall buildings surrounded by lights with a lake view and sightseeing of yachts. A place to see all types of people. Try it, you will feel as if it is home and never feel you are away from home.
Dubai Miracle Garden
The best flower garden not only in the Middle East but in the whole world. I have never seen such flowers in various designs you may even imagine. Innovation to the peak. Also, there is a mini Eiffel tower here. Don’t forget your camera. Please note that this is open only during winter seasons from November to March/April and tickets cost approximately around 30 AED per person.
An entertainment for the whole family is here in Global Village. I have never been to such an atmosphere in my entire life where I found the whole world under one ground. It’s like I had visited each and every country without a passport. From shops, food, culture, shows, games, rides and everything about fun and entertainment is here in Global Village. Both you and your kids will have a great time here. Try the giant wheel here. This is also open only during winter seasons from November to March/April and entrance tickets cost approximately around 15 AED per person. Extra tickets to be bought for the rides, games and other activities.
Beachcombers @ Jumeirah Beach Hotel
This is my personal recommendation as I am fed up of indoor restaurants. This is a unique ambiance with great food where you have an outdoor and indoor sheltered in wood with access to a sandy beach shore and a direct view of the Burj Al Arab. I tried both lunch and dinner here, no words to explain the delicious tastes. My kids enjoyed while they had their freedom as this restaurant welcomes kids and have quite a lot of food for kids to enjoy. This will cost approximately around 250 – 300 AED per person, but it’s really worth it.
So, families, I hope my blog has benefited all of you and if you were still searching for your itinerary, then the above is all yours. Your kids will have a great time while you also enjoy the best of Dubai. This is my real life experience in Dubai sharing with you the places I visited in Dubai with my family.
